US cancels funding for ‘wasteful’ program in Armenia
The United States has canceled funding for the “Advancing Democratic Culture” program in Armenia. This was reported by the US Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), headed by multibillionaire Elon Musk, an ally of US President Donald Trump.
A total of $2 million was planned to be allocated for this program.
The United States’ decision has called such spending “wasteful.”
In total, the US government has canceled $215 million in “wasteful grants” that were to be implemented in the UK, Moldova, Brazil, and some other countries.
