USAID increases Armenia assistance by $130 Million
YEREVAN (ARMENPRESS) — The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) is increasing the volume of assistance to Armenia by $130,000,000.
The bill on making changes to the grant agreement signed between Armenia and USAID on June 29, 2022 was approved at the Cabinet meeting.
The increase in assistance will bring the total USAID investment in Armenia to $250,000,000.
The additional funds are envisaged for institutionalization of effective and accountable governance, civic participation for strengthening democratic unity, strengthening economic management, increasing competitiveness of target sector.
