AAF Delivered $3.7 Million of Medicines to Armenia
Glendale, CA — The Armenia Artsakh Fund (AAF) delivered $3.7 million of medicines to Armenia on March 31, 2024. They were donated by Americares.
The medicines sent to Armenia included much needed Lansoprazole, Erdafitinib, Risperidone, Paliperidone, among others.
“We highly appreciate the life-saving medicines donated by Americares, the longtime partner of Armenia Artsakh Fund,” stated Harut Sassounian, President of Armenia Artsakh Fund.
From January – April 2024, the AAF shipped $20 million of medicines and medical supplies to Armenia. The AAF plans to make several more shipments of medicines in the near future.
In the past 35 years, including the shipments under its predecessor, the United Armenian Fund, the AAF delivered to Armenia and Artsakh a grand total of over $1 billion worth of humanitarian aid on board 158 airlifts and 2,585 sea containers.
“The Armenia Artsakh Fund is regularly offered free of charge millions of dollars of life-saving medicines and medical supplies. All AAF has to do is pay for the
shipping expenses. We would appreciate your generous donations to the AAF to be able to continue delivering this valuable assistance to all medical centers in Armenia,” stated Harut Sassounian.
