Aleksanyan reached the final and will fight for second Olympic title in Paris Olympics
Artur Aleksanyan, gold, silver and bronze medalist of the Olympic Games, four-time world champion, seven-time European champion, will fight for the title of two-time Olympic champion.
In the semifinals of the 33rd Summer Olympic Games in Paris in Greco-Roman wrestling in the 97 kg weight category Artur Aleksanyan fought against Gabriel Alejandro Rosillo Kindelan from Cuba, the world champion, the Pan American Games champion, the winner of the Pan American Championships, and won with the score 5-3.
Artur Aleksanyan is a London 2012 bronze medalist, Rio 2016 gold medalist and Tokyo 2020 silver medalist. Paris-2024 is Alexanian’s fourth Olympic Games.
