Oskanian: Artsakh Armenians have real chance for repatriation

Former Armenian Foreign Minister Vartan Oskanian said that there is a real chance for Artsakh Armenians to return to their homes under international guarantees.

His comments come following his meetings with officials in Moscow, Europe and the US.

Oskanian said that Artsakh people’s right to collective repatriation will gain international support if it is put on the agenda of peace talks between Armenia and Azerbaijan.

“It’s the Armenian government’s responsibility. Currently, there is a real chance for the exercise of Artsakh Armenians’ right to return to their homes,” he said in a social media video on Tuesday.

“The Armenian authorities must bring the issue to the agenda as it will help achieve a more durable peace,” Oskanian added.
