Armenia Artsakh Fund Delivered $2.2 Million of Medicines to Armenia
Glendale, CA — The ArmeniaArtsakhFund(AAF)delivered to Armenia last week
two separate shipments of medicines with a total value of $2.2 million.
The shipments included much needed medicines for treatment of patients with blood
cancer (Velcade) for $1,122,100 and (Kovaltry) for $1,100,000. Kovaltry prevents
bleeding episodes of patients as well as bleedings before and post surgeries.
The shipments of these medicines were sent to the Health Ministry of Armenia.
The AAF is grateful to Direct Relief for donating these valuable medicines.
In the past 35 years, including the shipments under its predecessor, the United
Armenian Fund, the AAF delivered to Armenia a grand total of one billion and 55
million Dollars worth of humanitarian aid on board 158 airlifts and 2,594 sea
containers.
“The Armenia Artsakh Fund is regularly offered free of charge millions of
dollars of life-saving medicines and medical supplies. All we have to do is pay for
the shipping expenses. We welcome your generous donations to be able to
continue delivering this valuable assistance to all medical centers in Armenia”
