Armenia authorities to attend Etchmiadzin Cathedral re-consecration
he Armenian authorities and the members of the ruling majority parliamentary faction will take part in the ceremonies of the blessing of the Holy Myron on Saturday and the re-consecration of the Etchmiadzin Cathedral on Sunday, Armenian News- NEWS.am has learned.
But the matter of National Assembly speaker Alen Simonyan’s participation in these ceremonies is still being discussed, his spokesperson, Movses Harutyunyan, told Armenian News-NEWS.am.
Simonyan recently had told reporters that he will attend these ceremonies if he does not go on a business trip during those days. And it became clear Monday that Alen Simonyan’s planned business trip to Canada was postponed.
