Armenia’s border control service gained enough experience to control Zvartnots without Russia’s support – Pashinyan

YEREVAN (ARMENPRESS) Armenian border guards have enough experience to carry out service at Zvarntots Airport, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said at a press conference Tuesday.

“The border guard troops of Armenia sent a letter to the border guard troops of the Russian Federation in Armenia, thanking them for the support and service provided in the Zvartnots Airport since Armenia’s independence, providing security and border control.

They informed that the border guard service of Armenia, particularly at Zvartnots Airport, has already acquired sufficient experience, skills, and capabilities to carry out border guard control at Zvartnots without the assistance of the Russian side,’’ Pashinyan said.
