Armenia’s permanent population is increasing
YEREVAN /ARKA/ — According to the Census, the permanent population of Armenia as of July 1, 2026, was 3,103,900, compared to 3,084,400 for the same period in 2025. This is according to data from the National Statistical Committee of the Republic of Armenia.
Armenia’s urban population totaled 1,983,600, with 1,120,300 in Yerevan. The rural population is 1,149,500.
