Armenia’s Public TV Company apologizes for ‘disgraceful’ report
The Public TV Company had to issue an apology following a “disgraceful” report about bribing protesters, opposition MP Kristine Vardanyan said on Thursday, sharing a part of its news broadcast.
The report wrongfully portrayed a conversation between two men about shoes in the Artsakh dialect as a discussion about payment for participation in anti-government protests in Armenia.
Earlier, human rights activist Ruben Melikyan accused the public broadcaster of conducting a “Goebbels propaganda”.
