ARS Social Services Expand to North Hollywood
STUDIO CITY, CA – The Armenian Relief Society of Western USA, Social Services Division, has started offering expanded services to low-to-moderate income individuals at its North Hollywood office, which will continue until the end of March 2015.
English as a Second Language/Life Skills classes for adults and senior citizens will be offered Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to noon, with the possibility of afternoon classes as well. Instruction is designed to focus on teaching basic English language and communication skills, as well as a foundation of skills useful in daily life. Alongside these services, qualified staff is readily available to continue offering general social services, including case management, completion of forms (citizenship, housing, welfare, etc.), employment information, referrals, and translations.
This program is funded by the City of Los Angeles Economic and Workforce Development Department (EWDD).
The ARS Social Services North Hollywood office is located at 11719 Moorpark St. in Studio City, Calif. Office hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
