Azerbaijan leader, US congressman discuss TRIPP “corridor”

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev received US House of Representatives member Abraham Hamadeh, Azerbaijani media report.

Aliyev stressed that Azerbaijani-American relations are developing successfully after US President Donald Trump returned to power.

During the conversation, the efforts of the Azerbaijani and US presidents to deepen strategic partnership were discussed. It was noted that the two parties attach great importance to the development of interstate relations.

Also, special attention was paid to Donald Trump’s role in the peace process between Armenia and Azerbaijan, as well as the prospects for expanding regional transport ties through the creation of the Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity (TRIPP) “corridor.”
