Dr. Souzy Ohanian Appointed Principal of Rose And Alex Pilibos Armenian School
The Board of Regents of the Prelacy Armenian Schools announced the appointment of Dr. Souzy Ohanian as the new Principal of Rose and Alex Pilibos Armenian School.
Dr. Ohanian’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Liberal Studies from California State University, Northridge, a Master of Arts degree and Credentials in K-12 Education/Teacher Education, and multiple subject credentials from the University of Phoenix, a second Master of Arts degree and preliminary credentials in Educational Administrative Leadership and Policies from California State University, Northridge, and a Doctor of Education, Ed.D, in K-12 Curriculum and Instruction from Capella University.
Dr. Ohanian, having served as a first-grade teacher at Vahan and Anoush Chamlian Armenian School from 1992-2012, and as Elementary Assistant Principal of Rose and Alex Pilibos Armenian School from 2012-2022.
Since 2022, Dr. Ohanian has been serving as the Principal of Charlotte and Elise Merdinian Armenian Evangelical School. Over the span of three decades, Dr. Ohanian has been a teacher, first-grade lead teacher, mentor to college students and new teachers, Elementary Academic Director, Dean of Curriculum and Instruction, and Assistant Principal.
