Glendale Calls for Short Film Submissions for Armenian Genocide Commemoration

Armenian Genocide Memorial in Pasadena.
Set to take place on Monday, April 21, 2025, at the historic ALEX Theatre, the event will showcase selected short films that explore themes of resilience, remembrance, and cultural identity.
Filmmakers are encouraged to submit works that highlight the Armenian Genocide, the ongoing struggles in Artsakh, or other genocides worldwide. This exhibition aims to amplify voices that shed light on historical and contemporary struggles while honoring the enduring spirit of those affected.
Submission Guidelines & Timeline:
- Films must be under 15 minutes in length, including credits.
- There are no age restrictions for filmmakers, but submitters must be at least 18 years old.
- Films must be submitted via a secure online screener, such as a password-protected Vimeo link.
- If selected, filmmakers must provide a digital screener; hard copies will not be accepted.
- Films must be in English or include English subtitles.
The deadline for submissions is April 7, 2025, before midnight. Selected filmmakers will be notified by April 14, 2025.
