IT IS TIME FOR THE DORMANT ARMENIAN SPIRIT TO AWAKEN
By ARMINE KOUNDAKJIAN
From the US media, we learn that our bloodthirsty enemy, Azerbaijan, is
purchasing the most advanced Israeli weapons, while we are busy erecting
a statue of Jesus…
Instead of having our wealthy oligarchs invest in weapons’ factories and
ammunition production, they prefer to astonish the world with such
unnecessary displays….
Sure, the statue of Jesus has its place and time, but not now, when our
homeland is at a serious and critical juncture, on the verge of survival or
extinction.
We must seriously understand our enemy, the Turks and Azeris, who aim
for the destruction of Armenia, and act accordingly. Yes, we must resist with
all our strength and intelligence. It’s true, we may resemble David and
Goliath, or more familiarly, Sasountsi Tavit and Msra Melik, but remember
who won at the end. We have no other choice.
For 30 years, our enemy, right before our eyes, was openly arming and
declaring their intentions, while we took their words lightly and put our
hopes in the incompetent CSTO and intermediary agents instead of
equipping ourselves with similar weapons.
No, I want to believe, or rather I am convinced, that we have not become
this foolish. It’s a pity that in the last 20-30 years, instead of building
churches, we didn’t build weapons factories, which could have spared us
such a humiliating defeat.
Look at how the whole world is responding to the fighting Ukrainians. No
one respects or loves a begging nation.
We even saw how our supposed ally, Russia, treated us.
Yes, this same Zelensky, who is now tearfully begging for help from
America, was one of the first to congratulate Aliyev after the 44-day war on
his victory. He even provided Azerbaijan with lethal drones.
Many countries are becoming wealthier by selling arms, while we are
growing poorer by losing the opportunity to defend ourselves through the
same means, which could also bring financial gain to our national treasury.
Karekin Njteh once said, “A nation that does not want to die, will not
die.”
Let us gather the strength of our resilient genes, expel the Turks in
Armenian disguise from among us, stand tall, believe in ourselves, and
trust ONLY OURSELVES to save our promised Armenian land.
Believe that there will be those who respect and listen to us, or more
accurately, WE WILL FORCE THEM to listen and give us the respect we
deserve…
