Horror of being sacked by PM via SMS reaches Armenia provinces

Zhoghovurd newspaper of Armenia writes as follows, in particular: The horror of dismissal by [PM] Nikol Pashinyan via SMS messages has reached the provinces.

Along with the “cleansing” being carried out in the legislature and the executive, he cleans also the CC [the ruling Civil Contract Party] provincial structures.

According to Zhoghovurd daily’s information, Nikol Pashinyan has ordered the vice-chairman of the CC board, Gevorg Papoyan, who is the so-called “provincial person in charge” of the CC, to clean up the [political] team, and those members of the CC provincial structures who have ended up in the center of scandals in one way or another are being removed from the team

That is, before the [next parliamentary] elections, Nikol Pashinyan has decided to clean up the team and get rid of scandalous figures so that he could gather votes.

Parallel to this, Pashinyan is appointing his trusted people to the positions of heads of provincial structures [of the CC].

It is obvious that the CC is already preparing for regular, or perhaps snap, parliamentary elections in 2026.
