Lara Kazandjian Selected To Rejoin Armenian Women’s National Team
OMAHA, Neb. – Creighton women’s soccer senior Lara Kazandjian has been called up and will rejoin the Armenian Women’s National Team later this week ahead of their friendly match against Moldova.
“We’re really proud of Lara and all the hard work she continues to put in,” said head coach Jimmy Walker. “As a top player on and off the field, it’s great to see her continuing to be selected for her national team. We are excited to see Lara play in their upcoming games.”
A Kirkland, Quebec, Canada native, Kazandjian spent part of last summer playing in Euro 2025 qualifying matches for the Armenian National Team before closing out her collegiate career this fall at Creighton.
Over the course of three seasons with the Bluejays, Kazandjian appeared in 51 matches, logging 3,183 minutes on the pitch. She was a First Team All-BIG EAST selection in 2022, finishing her career with five goals, including three game-winners, while dishing out four total assists. Additionally, Kazandjian was named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team each of the last two seasons while pursuing a degree in exercise science and pre-health professions.
