Altadena, CA — The Sahag-Mesrob School in Altadena, CA was completely destroyed by the massive fire that engulfed Altadena on Wendesday.

The school was founded by the Armenian evangeical community in 1980. It has 225 students, consisting of elementary and the Kristen Sarian preschool.
The fire broke out in the evening of January 7th and rapidly spread across the Altadena and Sierra Madre areas. Surrounding areas, including, but not limited to Pasadena, Glendale, La Cañada Flintridge, and La Crescenta were evacuated.
The fires in Sylmar, Hollywood HiIls, Santa Monica, and Pacific Palisades wreaked havoc across Los Angeles County after the latest wave of extreme Santa Ana Winds.
