Starlink Granted License to Operate in Armenia
YEREVAN – The Armenian Public Services Regulatory Commission approved an application by STARLINK AM.
Minister of High-Tech Industry Mkhitar Hayrapetyan announced the decision on Facebook, expressing hope that the testing phase will soon be completed, and the service will become fully operational.
The Commission’s decisions on December 4 and December 13 approved STARLINK AM LLC’s application for an exploitation license to operate a public electronic communication network and a permit to use radio frequencies on a secondary basis for organizing a public electronic communication network via global satellite communication systems.
“The licensing and permits have been provided, and now we enter the testing phase, which I hope will be completed in the coming months, allowing the service to become fully operational,” Hayrapetyan wrote.
