A street sign for Armenian Genocide Square in the Israeli city of Haifa has been vandalized. This was reported on X by journalist Gegham Balyan, who lives in Israel.
“The street sign for Armenian Genocide Square in Haifa, at the epicenter of the war, has been vandalized and torn down,” the journalist wrote.
The sign’s opening ceremony took place on March 20, 2023.
Following Israel and the US attack on Iran, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan expressed condolences to their Iranian counterparts.
