There are only 13 Armenians left in Nagorno Karabakh

In the case when 150 thousand Armenians lived in Artsakh before the 2020 war, now only 13 Armenians remain there. Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) ombudsman Gegham Stepanyan stated this at the conference Thursday on Azerbaijan’s aggression against human rights and environmental protection.
“That’s what one needs to know about Azerbaijan and the human rights agenda. All principles of human rights remain on paper and are not taken into account when making this or that political decision,” Stepanyan added.
He noted that the lack of international sanctions against Azerbaijan and the disregard of its crimes have led to the ethnic cleansing of Artsakh Armenians.
