Tourist flow to Armenia down in first 3 months of 2024
A decrease in the tourist flow in Armenia was recorded in the first three months of 2024 compared to the same period of 2023. This was announced by Deputy Minister of Finance Vahan Sirunyan during the debates on the report on the implementation of Armenia’s state budget in the first quarter of 2024, at the meeting of the Standing Committee on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs of the National Assembly on Friday.
According to Sirunyan, this decrease was 1.9 percent.
“It is mainly caused by the 22.2% reduction in the flow of tourists from Russia,” he explained.
