“WHILE PASHINYAN IS IN POWER, AZERBAIJAN MUST SOLVE ALL ITS PROBLEMS”: A VIEW FROM BAKU

According to Azerbaijani military expert Uzeyir Jafarov,

 “let’s not forget that it was thanks to Pashinyan’s

actions that we achieved certain goals

 

“My colleagues and I in this studio have repeatedly noted that Pashinyan’s tenure as Prime Minister of Armenia is very important for us. We started solving our problems with the arrival of Pashinyan and would like to finish with him.” Azerbaijani military expert Uzeyir Jafarov said this in an interview with Sevinj Telmangizi on “TV Musavat”, commenting on the ongoing protests in Armenia and the Movement as a whole. He admitted that Baku is following the events in Armenia very closely.

“Pashinyan considers the realities. During his meeting with the residents of Tavush, he gave them certain messages, which, it seems to me, are connected with three settlements. They came under the control of Azerbaijani border guards.”

“I am often criticized for being engaged in Pashinyan’s propaganda. But let’s not forget that it was thanks to his actions that we achieved certain goals. Pashinyan’s statements in Prague and Brussels provided us with legal and moral support on the issue of the return of Karabakh. Very often, we say one-on-one, of course not on TV, that Pashinyan is a very profitable leader of Armenia for us. And while he is in power, we must solve all our problems. Because if some scoundrel like Kocharyan and Bagrat comes to power, it will be very difficult. Inşallah (God grant) Pashinyan will defeat them and in 2024 we will hear other good news,”Uzeyir Jafarov concluded.
