Kocharyan’s Mykonos property targeted for asset recovery

Taron Chakhoyan, Deputy Chief of Staff to the Prime Minister of Armenia, announced on Facebook that the Prosecutor’s Office is seeking to confiscate a villa located in the Ano Mera area of Greece’s Mykonos island from Sedrak Kocharyan, son of Armenia’s second president. The property is reportedly valued at nearly $3.3 million.
Chakhoyan also published a photo of the island, noting, “Kocharyan, who once arrived in Armenia wearing a torn shirt, is now the co-owner of a 600-square-meter villa built on a 6,200-square-meter plot on a Greek island.”
He emphasized that the Kocharyan family has acquired part ownership of this expansive estate in one of Mykonos’ well-known locations.
