There is a saying in Persian, “the excuse is worse than the sin”. Instead of barking up insulting excuses, Mari Hovanesyan needs to apologize and fix the issue.

Well said Mr. Sassounian. It is a National disgrace. Vahakn Dadrian had dedicated his whole life in pursuit of the truth and justice for the Armenian cause. The least we can do is to honour him and place his ashes at the Komidas Pantheon.

  3. I think of all the hope and enthusiasm I felt in 1991 and for many years after independence. Well, the last three years have been a mess for Armenia, leading to genuine hopelessness. Perhaps we can learn all we need to know about ourselves –and predict our fate — from just this one story Harut Sassounian has brought to our attention. Very disheartening.
